Job description

Lawn Care Technicians are an integral part of Weed Man Lawn Care and overall customer satisfaction. You will be expected to work independently to complete scheduled assigned work on our clients lawns. The majority of this position is outside in varying types of weather. You will have the opportunity to maintain and drive a company owned vehicle and operate our equipment to fulfill our clients lawn care needs.

Benefits :

• 18.00 - $22.00 per hr
• Full Time / Monday through Friday with some Saturdays

Responsibilities :

• Maintain and Drive a company owned vehicle
• Maintain and Operate company owned equipment
• Treat a clients property with respect as if it was yours spot controlling weeds every visit, answering questions in a friendly manner, and completing the assigned task fully
• Provide basic lawn care services to our clients property such as but not limited to : weed control, fertilizer, aeration, seeding
• Analyze lawns and provide appropriate recommendations to improve the quality of a clients lawn such as but not limited to : noting weeds present, disease, insect, or seeding needs
• Market services to neighbors of clients and current clients
• Complete all paperwork and record information on an Android based device throughout the day as tasks are completed
• Complete Check Out and Check In Procedures efficiently and thoroughly
• Communicate effectively with the Office Staff as well as with the Operations Manager on any concerns
• Provide exceptional customer service by completing a lawn application to the best of your ability
• Participate in shop duties as needed

Qualifications :

• At least 21 years old
• Valid Drivers License with a Clean Record
• Have a High School Diploma
• Excellent Work Attendance
• Able to work long hours during peak production times
• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs, bend, squat, walk regularly throughout the day
• Ability to work under minimum supervision while out in the field
• Earn a State of Tennessee Cat 3 Lawn Care Applicator Certification within 90 days
