Job summary

Senske, Inc. is seeking a Lawn Care Technician to service properties along an assigned route.

You will use hand and powered equipment to apply fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides for pest and weed control in lawns and ornamentals, loading and unloading gear at each property. Starting wage depends on experience, with a wage range of $20.00–$22.00 per hour and up to $27/hour for experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide lawn care services to properties on assigned route, using hand and powered equipment to apply fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides.
• Unload and load equipment at each property and clear debris from the landscape prior to service.
• Comply with state and federal regulations and company policies; keep scheduled customer appointments.
• Interact with clients to address concerns and upsell additional services.
• Perform thorough inspection and evaluation of client properties.

Job description

• Working individually or with a crew to provide lawn care services to all properties on assigned route. Using hand and powered equipment, apply fertilizer, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides for pest and weed control in lawn and ornamentals.
• Unload and load equipment at each property, remove loose trash and debris from landscape area prior to servicing area.
• Comply with all state and federal regulations, and company policies, procedures, and guidelines including local ordinances. Keep scheduled appointments with customers, as applicable.
• Interact and ask questions of clients if they are present when the job is completed, to determine client concerns and existing conditions. Sell additional services to existing and prospective clients.
• Perform thorough inspection and evaluation of client properties.

Wage Range: $20.00-$22.00 per hour. Up to $27/hour for experienced technicians. Starting wage is determined based on relevant experience. This is a hourly, non-exempt position.
