Job summary

Rutgers Law School-Camden seeks an Admissions Officer to support the admissions process, recruit prospective students, and counsel applicants. This role reports to the Assistant Dean of Admissions and involves coordinating orientation, open houses, webinars, and information sessions with external partners.

The officer will maintain the admissions database, generate ABA reports, and collaborate with Camden Campus IT. Evening/weekend events and travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; two years' experience in university administration with high student contact.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; ACES2, Unite and/or RUTADMIN a plus.
• Driver's license and ability to travel for extensive periods during fall recruiting season.
• Experience handling confidential information with discretion; strong writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of the admissions process for Rutgers Law School Camden.
• Represent the law school at recruitment fairs, forums, and panels; counsel prospective students.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to yield diverse applicants.
• Plan Orientation, open houses, webinars, information sessions, and other recruitment events; build institutional relationships.
