Job description

Position Summary

This position oversees and manages all Law Program community and school sites; manages volunteer recruitment and training, and contributes to Law Program workshop facilitation.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Law Program School, Facility, and Community Sites: responsible for day-to-day management of sites to meet program deliverables and outcomes, including recruitment, referral numbers, youth attendance, schedules, site contacts, and program calendar.
  • Assist in program growth and expansion; maintain existing stakeholder relationships and establish new sites in collaboration with the Programs Manager.
  • Conduct site visits to provide feedback, coordinate site logistics, and facilitate the curriculum at 1–2 sites per semester.
  • Engage youth in FLY’s programs and compile data for grant reports.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and management of volunteer facilitators: broaden recruitment base, coordinate presentations, nurture relationships with colleges and community organizations, schedule interviews, design training curriculum, ensure volunteers have necessary tools, and process volunteer clearances within 48 hours.
  • Oversee youth recruitment, community outreach, and program events: maintain relationships with schools and providers, oversee referrals, plan logistics for training sessions and recognition ceremonies, speak about the program, lead meetings, seek opportunities for community workshops, and coordinate outside speakers.
  • Supervision and performance management: supervise up to two direct reports, develop training plans, conduct performance reviews, and support staff development.
