Job summary

University of Minnesota Twin Cities is seeking a Law Library Administrative Director to guide strategic finance, HR, and operations for the Law Library. The role leads budgeting, policy development, and financial forecasting while representing the library on university committees.

Reporting to the Law Library Director, this 100%-time, twelve-month position emphasizes collaboration with School and University personnel to ensure compliant financial and HR practices and successful facilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least six years of relevant experience.
• Experience with project management, budgeting, reporting, and HR processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally to diverse audiences.
• Ability to lead and address complex projects in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership including budgeting, planning, analysis, reporting, and policy compliance.
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures across the Law Library.
• Forecast and manage financial resources and performance; advise senior management.
• Lead HR initiatives: hiring, performance reviews, appointment processes, and HR policy guidance.
• Oversee facilities planning and operations, procurement, and safety compliance.
