Job summary

College of Law is seeking a Circulation Desk staff member to manage daily desk operations, assist patrons, and support collection maintenance. The role includes open/close duties, supervising student assistants, and coordinating with Technical Services as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in progress considered.
• Library experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Open/close procedures at the Circulation Desk.
• Oversee check-in/out of library materials of various formats.
• Assist patrons with locating materials and provide customer service.
• Manage overdue notices and assist the Access Services Manager.
• Keep Circulation Department manuals up to date and communicate policies.
• Assist with shelving, stack maintenance, and study room reservations.
