Job summary

Frey Consulting Group in Billings, MT seeks a Director of Operations to serve as second-in-command to the founder, turning a bold vision into a scalable, high-performing practice. You’ll optimize workflows, build structure, and lead teams to serve clients with excellence.

This in-office role reports to the Founder/CEO, offering starting salary around $100,000 with bonus potential and full benefits. EOS or Scaling framework experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations in a professional services firm.
• Ability to turn founder vision into scalable structure.
• Strong process orientation with measurable outcomes.
• Familiarity with law firm workflows and client service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Optimize workflows in Lawmatics, Clio, and core business systems.
• Create scalable systems, workflows, and quality controls.
• Oversee case management and task accountability across the firm.
• Establish operational rhythms: daily huddles, weekly scorecards, KPI reporting.
• Implement time-template planning to align work with plan.
• Document, improve, and standardize recurring processes.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement practical solutions.
• Manage vendors, contracts, facilities, and admin operations.
• Ensure routine tasks completed without constant oversight.
