Job summary

ALT Consulting is seeking an IT Consultant to work directly with law firm clients, understanding their technology needs and guiding IT strategies. You will assess environments, propose improvements, and collaborate with our technical teams to implement solutions that help firms run more smoothly.

You will translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations, acting as a trusted technology advisor for owners and operations leaders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT support, consulting, or a related role.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows and macOS environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain client IT infrastructure across multiple law firm accounts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client technology decisions and escalations.
• Conduct technology assessments and produce clear, written findings.
• Design and implement solutions across networking, cloud, and endpoint environments.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and related services for client accounts.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers on behalf of clients.
• Document client environments, changes, and procedures.
• Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior technical staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve client environments and propose solutions proactively.
