Morrison Mahoney LLP is seeking a Business Manager in Boston to own day-to-day operations and drive financial discipline across the firm. You will partner with firm leadership to translate data into practical actions on billing, budgeting, vendor management, and operational processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years in a business manager, or related role in professional services.
• Strong financial analytics, including forecasts, expenses, invoices, and financial reports.
• Proven ability to work across departments, manage competing priorities, and hold others accountable.
• Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attorneys, staff, vendors, and leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Office suite.
• High degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret financial reports and provide leadership with meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Identify trends, variances, financial risks, and opportunities; lead responses.
• Drive improvements in billing, collections, and financial performance with the Director of Finance.
• Analyze client rates, discounts, and pricing decisions; present recommendations to leadership.
• Review contracts from a financial perspective; propose action to leadership.
• Lead budgeting and assist with P&L, forecasting, and planning.
• Serve as a resource to the Managing Partner with analysis and recommendations.
• Deliver analyses informing leadership decision-making and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Oversee vendor relationships and procurement from a business perspective.
• Coordinate with attorneys, staff, and vendors to handle business matters.
• Assist with investments/expenditures analyses and evaluate initiatives.
• Implement approved initiatives and ensure follow-through.
• Support office operations, technology, insurance, facilities, and related functions.
