Job summary

Spencer Fane LLP seeks an Electronic Billing Specialist in Oklahoma City to manage client invoices and provide client-facing support. You will work under supervision with partners, staff and clients, ensuring accurate electronic billing setup, processing and maintenance across multiple systems.

The role requires 3+ years in AR/collections, electronic billing experience, and proficiency with Aderant Bill Blast, E-Billing Hub, InTapp or Elite 3E.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related area.
• Minimum of 3+ years of AR and/ or collections experience.
• Electronic billing experience required.
• Prior law firm industry experience preferred.
• Experience with the Electronic Billing Hub or Aderant Bill Blast strongly preferred.
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Submit invoices through the Aderant eBilling system for client review (Aderant Bill Blast).
• Contact clients, attorneys and assistants to obtain information needed for electronic billing setup, processing and maintenance.
• Maintain up-to-date billing information in Aderant, Bill Blast and client billing portals.
• Identify invoice rejections and implement solutions to resolve them.
• Submit accrual information in client billing websites or by email.
• Submit appeals for reduced invoices in client billing portals.
• Review daily cash and client reports for write-offs and billing setup.
• Provide backup support to collections, cash team and AP as needed.
• Assist accounting team with other tasks as needed.
