Job summary

CF Legal Recruiting and Staffing seeks a Business Development Specialist to assist attorneys and practice groups with business development, client development, and marketing initiatives. The role collaborates with the Marketing & Business Development team and is ideal for someone with prior law firm or professional services experience.

The position involves supporting BD plans, researching markets, preparing client materials, and managing thought leadership and events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of business development or marketing experience.
• Law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, research, and project-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• CRM, Adobe InDesign, and marketing automation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support attorney and practice group business development plans, initiatives, and follow-up.
• Conduct research on clients, prospects, industries, competitors, and market trends.
• Maintain and track business development opportunities, client relationships, and cross-selling initiatives.
• Prepare presentations, proposals, pitches, and other client-facing materials.
• Maintain practice group experience and matter information.
• Assist with marketing collateral, legal directory submissions, awards, and recognition materials.
• Support thought leadership initiatives, including client alerts, newsletters, podcasts, and other content.
• Assist with events, sponsorships, follow-up, and ROI tracking.
