Stein Law LLC seeks a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper in Sandy Springs, GA to manage the firm's financial operations, including payroll, client billing, and trust accounting compliance.

You'll maintain financial records, generate monthly reports (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet), and support annual budgeting and tax filing in coordination with the CPA, ensuring accuracy and data integrity. This role emphasizes discretion and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifikationen

• Fluent in QuickBooks and English.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive financial information with discretion and integrity.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Maintain and reconcile IOLTA/trust accounts in compliance with legal regulations
• Produce timely monthly financial reports, including P&L, cash flow and balance sheet
• Assist in the annual budgeting process
• Manage the firm's billing process, including time entry review, invoice preparation, client billing, payment tracking, and collections
• Process payroll and manage employee benefit deductions
• Conduct benefits cost tracking and assist with benefits-related reporting and filings
• File 1099s and similar tax forms
• Initiate and track ACH payments and wire transfers
• Generate weekly cash on hand reports
• Coordinate with legal billing software and ensure accurate data integration
• Assist with partnership accounting, including partner draws and equity tracking
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions to resolve issues and maintain account security
• Monitor for fraud and implement internal financial controls
• In coordination with firm's CPA, support firm and its partners in annual tax planning and filing
• Other tasks as assigned
