The ideal candidate has 5+ years in marketing or BD, excellent writing and organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with attorneys to drive practice goals.

Qualifications

• College degree and 5+ years of marketing or business development experience required.
• Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Some travel between offices is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute marketing and business development strategies to achieve goals; track and report progress.
• Conduct competitive intelligence.
• Prepare reports on clients, targets, and market trends.
• Maintain the experience database.
• Coordinate RFP responses, proposals, and presentations.
• Track and report on RFP/proposal results and trends.
• Improve pitch materials and processes.
• Ensure continuity across offices.
• Create new collateral to position the firm and practice groups.
• Produce submissions for legal rankings with PR agency support.
• Work with attorneys to deliver high-level service and achieve BD goals.
• Suggest new ideas to reach target audiences aligned with group goals.
• Leverage the CRM system.
