Job summary

ICW Group in San Diego, CA, is seeking a legal support professional to assist the Workers' Compensation legal department by providing technical support to attorneys, conducting legal research and drafting documents. This role will work under the supervision of assigned attorneys to assist in court and trial related research.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and are currently attending an accredited law school with progress toward completing two semesters, with legal or insurance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; currently attending an accredited law school with 2 semesters/3 quarters completed.
Legal or insurance experience preferred.
Interest in CA workers' compensation litigation.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Performs analysis and research for Workers' Compensation cases.
Drafts legal memos and briefs.
Prepares motions and petitions and responses.
Assists in deposition and trial preparation.
