Job summary

CURE Auto Insurance in Michigan is seeking a motivated Law Clerk / Associate Attorney. This role starts as a Law Clerk with hands-on exposure across all stages of legal matters.

You will conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and assist with case preparation under experienced attorneys, with a clear path to Associate Attorney upon successful admission to the Bar. Starting salary $27-$30 per hour, transitioning to about $100,000 per year after bar admission, with a flexible schedule and

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission readiness.
• Strong research, writing, analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on a variety of issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses and other documents.
• Assist with case preparation, review documents and organize evidence.
• Review contracts and legal documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Attend client meetings, depositions and court proceedings as needed.
• Support senior attorneys with case strategy and filings.
