Legal Clerk (remote)
Mike Agruss Law seeks a law clerk (work from home). We want to hear from you if you are a law school student with superb research and writing skills. Our law firm seeks the next law clerk to help our attorneys shine. You will work closely with our attorneys to prepare legal memos, motions, and other documents for trial. You will also be able to draft complaints, discovery, and learn about filing requirements for both circuit and federal courts. Responsibilities
• Draft legal memoranda with results of research in order to assist with the strategy for court proceedings
• Conduct legal research to confirm cited legal authority for judges and attorneys
• Prepare the initial drafts of various documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses
Qualifications
• Recent law school graduate or current law school student with an undergraduate degree
• Candidates must have great writing skills and communication skills to be able to argue effectively
• Display attention to detail and strong work ethic
