Job summary

Anchor Fabrication, LLC, a precision metal fabrication company located in LaVergne, Tennessee is seeking experienced Press and Punch Operators for the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating punch and press machines, reading blueprints, inspecting first and last pieces, and performing preventative maintenance while maintaining a clean, safe work area. Overtime or different shifts may be required based on company needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in metal fabrication industries is a plus.
• Punch & Press operation experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading are required or preferred.

Press Operators 2nd shift 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Anchor Fabrication, LLC, a precision metal fabrication company located in LaVergne, Tennessee is seeking experienced Press and Punch Operators for the 2nd shift.

• Set up and operate all Punch & Press operations to produce quality parts.
• Conducts preventative as scheduled
• Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor issues as needed. Work with Maintenance on major issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• May be required to work overtime or different shift than originally assigned based on company needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience in the metal fabrication industries is a plus.
• Punch & Press Operation experience preferred
• Mechanically adept.
• Blueprint reading
• Good math skills
• G/D & T Knowledge preferred but not required

Education

• High School or Equivalent
• Technical School Experience a plus
