Job summary

Anchor Fabrication, a precision metal fabrication company in Lavergne, Tennessee, seeks experienced Press Brake Operators for the 1st shift. Responsibilities include setting up brake presses, reading blueprints, inspecting parts, applying metal properties knowledge, and maintaining accurate reports.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in sheet metal fabrication, blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge, and familiarity with Amada and Trumpf brakes.

Qualifications

• Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge required.
• Strong math skills are essential for interpreting drawings.
• Experience with Amada and Trumpf brake presses is a plus.
• Epicor experience is beneficial for production data and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brake department machines.
• Read blueprints and perform first/last piece inspection.
• Apply metal properties knowledge to bending operations.
• Maintain clerical and labor reporting records.
• Keep work area clean and safe; may overtime or shift change as needed.

Press Brake Operator — 1st Shift

Anchor Fabrication, a precision metal fabrication company located in Lavergne, Tennessee, is seeking experienced Press Brake Operators for the 1st shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate all machine types in the Brake Department.
• Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection.
• Apply knowledge of metal properties to bending operations.
• Perform clerical and labor reporting duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• May be required to work overtime or different shift than originally assigned based on company needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry preferred.
• Blueprint reading
• Good math skills
• G/D & T Knowledge and must pass test.
• Amanda and Trumpf Brake experience a plus.
• Epicor experience a plus.

Education

• High School or Equivalent
• Technical School Experience a plus
