Job summary

Simplex Construction Management, Inc. is seeking a qualified Senior Structural Engineer for our Los Angeles, CA office. This full-time, in-person role requires strong experience in structural design and project leadership on school building projects.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering and be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. A PE license is preferred.

You must be located in Southern California. No relocation funds and no per diem will be offered.

Minimum Requirements

Required Experience

• Three (3) years full-time paid professional structural engineering experience
• Emphasis on school building construction is preferred

Required Education

• Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in structural engineering or civil engineering with specialization on structuralengineering courses.

Preferred Licenses and Certificates

• Possession of a Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) recognized by the State of CA Board of Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists is preferred.

Compensation

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors such as individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
