The Greenridge Group is seeking a Structural Engineer Associate to support LAUSD’s Facilities Services Division, Maintenance & Operations – A&E Services. Join a premier contractor and consulting firm focused on school facilities in Los Angeles.

You will prepare and review structural plans, perform cost estimates, and coordinate with contractors, architects, and engineers on design and construction activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a specialization/coursework in Structural Engineering.
• At least 3 years of full-time, paid professional structural engineering experience.
• Experience with BlueBeam, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Knowledge of DSA and California school building construction code.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review structural design plans, specifications, estimates, and technical reports.
• Review structural plans, specifications, design calculations, and construction documents.
• Assist with structural design for foundations, floors, walls, roofs, and other major building components.
• Prepare conceptual and detailed cost estimates and other reports supporting construction and maintenance projects.
• Review structural work for compliance with applicable standards, constructability, completeness, and accuracy.
• Conduct site investigations and prepare scoping reports and recommendations.
• Provide structural recommendations to contractors, architects, engineers, inspectors, and other project stakeholders.
• Review soils data and other project information and provide recommendations related to foundation design.
• Support structural engineering consultants and design teams throughout project development and construction.

We are seeking a Structural Engineer Associate to support LAUSD’s Facilities Services Division, Maintenance & Operations (M&O) – A&E Services team. This is a great opportunity for a structural engineering professional who is interested in working on meaningful public-sector facilities projects and contributing to the design, construction, maintenance, and improvement of school facilities throughout Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review structural design plans, specifications, estimates, and technical reports.

• Annual Salary: USD 165000-180000 per year
