Job summary

Hurawalhi Island Resort is seeking a dedicated Laundry Supervisor to oversee daily laundry operations for a luxury resort. You will supervise staff, ensure proper handling of guest and hotel linens, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The role requires 2–3 years in laundry with supervision experience, strong leadership, and good communication. Accommodation, meals, and staff facilities are provided as part of the team package.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in laundry operations.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of laundry processes, equipment, and chemicals.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Good communication and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
• Maldivian nationality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the laundry department.
• Ensure proper washing, drying, ironing, and folding of guest laundry, staff uniforms, and hotel linens.
• Maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards for all laundry items.
• Monitor laundry equipment and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Train, guide, and supervise laundry attendants to ensure efficient workflow.
• Ensure proper use of detergents, chemicals, and laundry equipment according to safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry items, chemicals, and inventory.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing daily workloads.

Hurawalhi Island Resort is looking for a dedicated and detail‑oriented Laundry Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the laundry department. The 90‑villa, adults‑only luxury resort is a renowned culinary hotspot offering epic culinary journeys, including the largest all‑glass underwater restaurant and 5.8 Undersea Restaurant. • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer knowledge will be an advantage.
