Job summary

Grand River Health is hiring a Laundry Worker for full-time day shift in Rifle, Colorado. The role involves operating laundry equipment, washing and drying linens and uniforms, and maintaining cleanliness and disinfecting all laundry areas.

You will assist in record keeping and may cross-train with Environmental Services. The ideal candidate has up to one year of similar experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• One-year experience in a similar position preferred.
• Valid Drivers License and clean DMV record required.

Responsibilities

• Operates laundry equipment and assists in laundry record keeping.
• Washes and dries linens, uniforms and other laundry for Grand River Hospital District.
• Marks, irons, folds, transports, delivers and repairs clothing and linen as needed.
• Ensures laundry is clean and disinfected; maintains washer, dryer, ironer and chemicals.
• Wears PPE when necessary and cross-trains with Environmental Services team.
• May work shifts in Housekeeping and assist cleaning in public areas.
