Job summary

Grand River Health in Rifle, Colorado is seeking a full-time Laundry Worker for day shifts. The role ensures cleanliness and quality of linens, uniforms and other laundry items to support patient and staff comfort.

You will operate laundry equipment, maintain records, and assist with additional housekeeping tasks as needed. The position offers a pay range of $17.50-$21.87 per hour, with shift differentials for nights and weekends, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO from day one

Qualifications

• One-year experience in a similar position preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean DMV record required.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual work involving the operation of laundry equipment and assists in laundry record keeping.
• Washes and dries linens, uniforms and other laundry for Grand River Hospital District (GRHD).
• Work includes but is not limited to: marking, ironing, folding, transporting, delivering and repairing clothing and linen.
• Ensures all laundry is clean and disinfected. Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of washer, dryer, ironer, and all laundry chemicals and detergent.
• Must wear properPPE when necessary.
• Cross trains with other members of the Environmental Services team.
• May at times be required to work shifts in Housekeeping Department. Sometimes may need to assist cleaning in public areas including but not limited to bathrooms, resident rooms, and common areas.
