Job summary

Rialto Post Acute Center is seeking a Laundry Specialist to maintain the facility’s linen supply and support resident care. You will collect, wash, dry, and fold linens, iron as needed, and ensure clean linen distribution across departments.

Responsibilities include operating commercial washing equipment, following infection control protocols, and keeping tidy laundry areas. Requires a high school diploma; healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform essential functions.
• High School Education or GED required.
• Experience in healthcare facility preferred.
• Laundry experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Collect soiled linens, sort, wash, dry, and fold linens.
• Iron linens as necessary and distribute to departments.
• Wash, dry, and mend residents' personal clothing as directed.
• Maintain infection control and sanitation policies.
• Operate washing machines and dryers; transport laundry as needed.
