Job summary

Good Samaritan in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Laundry Attendant to perform daily laundry tasks in a healthcare environment. You will sort, wash, fold, and handle linens while following infection prevention guidelines and location policies.

Responsibilities include operating laundry equipment, applying chemicals safely, and distributing fresh linens. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may apply depending on patient needs and location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to use a computer; prior cleaning experience in healthcare helpful.
• Knowledge of materials, equipment and cleaning methods.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record (location dependent).

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day laundry tasks and maintain a clean environment in a healthcare setting.
• Sort, wash, apply chemicals and manage water temperatures per location standards.
• Assist with storage, distribution of clean linens and PPE as required.
• Follow infection prevention guidelines and wear PPE as outlined.
