Job summary

PureStar is seeking a dedicated Laundry Production Worker for 1st and 2nd shifts in our Nashville facility. You will sort, fold, and process linens using manual and automated equipment, and maintain a clean, organized workstation in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, dependable, and able to follow safety procedures and PPE requirements. Prior laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus, and ability to work weekends or holidays as needed is expected.

Job Title: Laundry Production Worker Shift: 1st and 2nd Shift

Position Summary: The Laundry Production Worker is responsible for performing various tasks in the production area of an industrial laundry facility. This role includes sorting, folding, and preparing clean and soiled linens using both manual and automated equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort soiled and clean linen for processing
• Feed clean linen into belt-fed folding machines
• Fold smaller items by hand as needed
• Operate various production equipment, including ironers, feeders, folders
• Track production and report quantities processed
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Work Schedule

• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs as needed
• Comfortable working in industrial conditions, including heat, cold, and high noise levels
