Job summary

Hope Haven in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Laundry Operations Associate for part-time hours. You will drive a company van or box truck to collect and deliver laundry items to client sites such as churches, restaurants, and catering companies, while ensuring accurate logs and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have valid, unrestricted driver's license (CDL not required).
• Clean driving record; MVR must meet insurer criteria.
• Experience with laundry operations and staff scheduling.
• Ability to pass background check and driving record review.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate van and box truck.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company van or box truck to pick up and deliver laundry items.
• Load/unload and verify counts against manifests.
• Obtain signatures and maintain delivery logs.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Represent Hope Haven professionally to clients.
• Fully operate laundry department when Laundry Manager is out.
• Coordinate staff schedules and monitor supplies.
• Supervise residents in FBA programs during on-site laundry work.
• Model professional work habits and provide on-the-job guidance.
