Job summary

Hope Haven Inc. is seeking a part-time Laundry Operations Associate to handle pickup and delivery of laundry items, supervise residents in FBA programs, and fully operate the laundry department when the Laundry Manager is unavailable.

You will drive a company van or box truck on assigned routes, maintain logs, and ensure safety and professionalism with clients such as churches, restaurants, and catering companies.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license issued by NC or other US jurisdiction acceptable to the company.
• Experience with laundry operations including commercial washers, dryers, presses, and ironing equipment.
• Experience with staff scheduling and coordinating daily work assignments.
• Strong attention to detail in sorting, counting, and verifying client orders.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver laundry items using a company van or box truck, verify counts, obtain signatures, and maintain logs.
• Fully operate the laundry department when the Laundry Manager is out of the office, including processing, sorting, and quality checks.
• Coordinate staff schedules and assignments to keep operations running smoothly; monitor supplies and report reorder needs.
• Supervise Hope Haven residents participating in FBA programs during on-site laundry work and transport.
• Ensure safety and professional conduct of residents on routes and client sites; report issues promptly.
