Lafon Nursing Home in New Orleans, LA is seeking a dependable Laundry Attendant to support evening operations. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and garments, ensuring clean and well-stocked supplies for a safe, comfortable environment.

The role emphasizes reliability, efficiency, and attention to detail while working 2:00 PM–10:00 PM on-site. You will join a team focused on consistent service, infection control, and a respectful workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or related experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during evening shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull laundry carts and items as needed.
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
