Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assembles, installs, repairs and maintains laundry/housekeeping equipment including conveyor system, tunnel batch washer, dryers, folders, spreader feeders, small item folders and ironers.
• Maintains parts inventory and submits list of items to Manager for reorder.
• Inspects machinery/equipment to identify defective parts.
• Searches for new, used and rebuilt parts through vendors for best pricing.
• Conducts periodic preventive maintenance checks on all equipment.
• Keeps equipment and work area clean of lint, grease and oil.
• Completes assignments with detailed parts and time documentation.
• Follows safe work practices and infection control procedures.
