Job summary

Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure is seeking a part-time Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This position requires 29 hours per week with availability 8:30am-5pm on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, to ensure clean linens and a welcoming environment for members and guests.

You will handle washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens, coordinate with the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor, and assist with other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Duties:

• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and other laundry items.
• Sort laundry and treat stained items as needed.
• Inspect linens for cleanliness, stains, damage, and excessive wear.
• Operate laundry equipment and use cleaning products according to established procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized laundry and linen storage areas.
• Monitor linen supplies and report shortages, damaged items, or equipment issues.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling and storage of laundry chemicals.
• Coordinates with the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor relating to work priorities and provides assistance when/where needed.
• Assists with other housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.
