Job summary

Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to support housekeeping and laundry operations in a scenic mountain and lake setting.

The full-time role requires 40 hours per week with shifts 8:30am–5pm on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, offering opportunities to work in a welcoming community and access the resort’s amenities.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Strong teamwork and customer service focus.
• High energy, dependable, and maintains a positive attitude.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and other laundry items.
• Sort laundry and treat stained items as needed.
• Inspect linens for cleanliness, stains, damage, and excessive wear.
• Operate laundry equipment and use cleaning products according to established procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized laundry and linen storage areas.
• Monitor linen supplies and report shortages, damaged items, or equipment issues.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling and storage of laundry chemicals.
• Coordinate with the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor relating to work priorities and provides assistance when/where needed.
• Assist with other housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.
