Job summary

Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure in North Carolina is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals for a part-time laundry role. The position requires 29 hours per week with shifts 8:30am–5pm on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, supporting our housekeeping team by washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.

You will inspect items for cleanliness and wear, operate laundry equipment, monitor supplies, and follow safety procedures.

This part-time position is scheduled for 29 hours per week. Qualified candidates must be available to work 8:30am-5pm on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Job Duties:

• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and other laundry items.
• Sort laundry and treat stained items as needed.
• Inspect linens for cleanliness, stains, damage, and excessive wear.
• Operate laundry equipment and use cleaning products according to established procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized laundry and linen storage areas.
• Monitor linen supplies and report shortages, damaged items, or equipment issues.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling and storage of laundry chemicals.
• Coordinates with the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor relating to work priorities and provides assistance when/where needed.
• Assists with other housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.

Requirements
