Job summary

Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure in North Carolina is seeking a dependable Laundry/Linen Attendant to support our housekeeping team. This full-time role involves washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens while maintaining organized storage in a beautiful mountain and lake setting.

The position requires a 40-hour week with shifts 8:30am-5pm on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and a focus on teamwork, reliability, and proactive service.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Strong teamwork and customer service focus.
• High energy, dependable, and maintains a positive attitude.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and other laundry items.
• Sort laundry and treat stained items as needed.
• Inspect linens for cleanliness, stains, damage, and excessive wear.
• Operate laundry equipment and use cleaning products according to established procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized laundry and linen storage areas.
• Monitor linen supplies and report shortages, damaged items, or equipment issues.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling and storage of laundry chemicals.
• Coordinate with the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor relating to work priorities and provide assistance as needed.
• Assist with other housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates must be available to work 8:30am-5pm on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
