Job summary

Crown Hotel & Travel Management LLC is seeking a Hotel Laundry Attendant in Weaverville, NC. The position is available as part-time or full-time with a salary of $15.00 Annually.

The role supports housekeeping through linen processing, washing, and folding to hotel standards and contributes to a clean, comfortable guest environment. Responsibilities include handling linen, operating laundry equipment, maintaining the area, and assisting with storage and room cleanliness as needed.

Qualifications

• Wear a provided uniform and nametag at all times on the property.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 20 pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to kneel, reach, crawl, and twist torso as needed to accomplish required tasks.
• To perform repetitive movements when cleaning and folding.
• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stripping of dirty linen from guest rooms and sort linens for washer.
• Remove stains from soiled linen and dispose of linen and terry properly.
• Operate washers and dryers and ensure correct chemicals are used.
• Fold linens to hotel standards and keep stock organized.
• Wash bed wraps, duvets, mattress pads, and blankets per hotel standards.
• Keep laundry area neat and clean and assist housekeepers as needed.
• Report damages in the laundry area or with equipment; notify Executive Housekeeper of damage to roll-aways or cribs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stripping of dirty linen from the guest rooms as needed
• Sort linens for washer
• Remove stains from badly soiled linen
• Dispose of linen and terry properly
• Operate washers and dryers properly as well as ensuring that the correct chemicals (and amounts) are being used
• Fold linens to hotel standards and keep stock organized designated places
• Wash bed wraps, duvets, mattress pads, and blankets in accordance with hotel standards
• Keep laundry area neat and clean
• Assist housekeepers in the cleanliness of the hotel room if needed
• Assist with cleaning and up-keeping of storage areas
• Report immediately all damage found in in laundry room or with equipment
• Notify Executive Housekeeper of any damage to roll-aways or cribs in rooms
• All other duties assigned
