Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely.
• Attention to detail and quality control.
• Physical stamina for repetitive tasks and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial laundry equipment per safety guidelines and procedures.
• Sort and pre-treat soiled linens and garments for washing.
• Load and unload laundry machines with proper capacity.
• Monitor cycles and adjust settings for thorough cleaning and drying.
• Inspect laundered items for quality; remove damaged items.
• Fold and stack linens and garments following storage procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room.
• Restock linens and monitor inventory levels.
• Follow safety guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals and PPE.
• Report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Assist with other housekeeping or laundry-related tasks as required.
