Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites is seeking a Laundry Attendant to manage daily linen processing, inventory, and delivery in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will operate washers/dryers, inspect laundry, and maintain par levels while ensuring safety and cleanliness in the laundry room.

This role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior laundry or hospitality experience is preferred to support guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English, including chemical labels and equipment signage.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly in a hot, humid laundry environment.
• Adherence to safety guidelines, PPE usage, and chemical handling.
• Preferred: one year of commercial laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality experience.
• Preferred: familiarity with commercial laundry equipment and chemical dispensing systems.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and uniforms to ensure a steady supply.
• Operate commercial washers and dryers with correct cycles, temperatures, and chemical dosages.
• Inspect items and remove torn or worn pieces from circulation.
• Maintain par levels and inventory on housekeeping carts and storage closets; restock as needed.
• Log linen usage, report shortages or excess, and notify management for reorders.
• Deliver linens and amenities to guest rooms and assist during peak periods.
• Follow safety policies, maintain a clean, sanitary laundry room, and use PPE as required.
