Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites Enterprise is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to ensure the cleanliness and care of all hotel linens and terry. The role supports housekeeping to maintain high guest satisfaction by timely handling laundry in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate laundry equipment, sort, wash, dry, and stock linens, and work as part of a team committed to hospitality excellence and safe, efficient service for guests and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand, read, write and speak basic English.
• Must be able to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Must be able to comply in standardized situations with only occasional or no variation.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to work without constant supervision.
• Must be able to work as a part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive soiled linens from laundry chutes and carts.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold dirty linen and terry and properly store clean linen (loads heavy, wet laundry).
• Coordinate and distribute cleaned linen for housekeeping and F/B staff.
• Operate laundry equipment—washer, dryer, iron and board as needed.
• Stock cleaned linen in appropriate areas.
• Keep daily inventories of linen and terry to meet needs.
• Replenish supplies from storage as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and equipment.
• Work with cleaning chemicals and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist in other housekeeping areas as needed.
• Respond to housekeeping needs within 10 minutes.
• Use guest name on floors and in occupied rooms.
