Job summary

Biltmore Farms, LLC is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to manage linen care for our hotel and banquet spaces in Asheville. You will sort, wash, and fold linens, maintain a clean work area, and support Room Attendants as needed.

The role requires AM shift availability, weekend and holiday flexibility, and a focus on guest hospitality. Prior housekeeping knowledge is helpful and physical endurance is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping and cleaning techniques.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, and fold linens from guest rooms to restaurant and banquet areas.
• Keep laundry area clean and organized.
• Assist Room Attendants and Porters as needed.
• Handle all laundry aspects from towels and uniforms to bedspreads and blankets.
• Treat each guest with hospitality and care.
• Must be available to work AM shift, weekends and holidays.

As a Laundry Attendant, you will:

• Sort, wash, and fold all linens from guest rooms to the restaurant and banquet areas
• Keep laundry area clean and organized
• Be a team player and assist Room Attendants and Porters, as needed
• Handle all laundry aspects of the hotel from towels and uniforms to bedspreads and blankets
• Treat each hotel guest like a guest in your own home
• Must be available to work AM shift, have flexible availability, and work weekends and holidays

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Should have knowledge of hotel housekeeping and cleaning techniques. At least one year of experience in hotel setting is a plus. Have good communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical

Must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds. Must be capable of constant walking, lifting, bending, pushing and pulling. Must be able to work with cleaning products regularly. Be able to work in a hot environment at various times throughout the year.
