Job description

Perform tasks to maintain linen wash, fold, and iron. This includes dining room tablecloths, napkins, sheets, pillowcases, towels, robes, blankets, bedspreads, and duvets for the hotel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Wash tablecloths, napkins, towels, pool towels, sheets, blankets, duvets.
• Iron sheets, pillowcases, tablecloths, and napkins.
• Fold towels, robes, blankets, bedspreads, duvets.
• Wash and dry laundry bags from Housekeeping and dining room.
• Clean laundry room at end of shift (sweep, mop, clean lint from dryers and ironer).
• Work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.

Requirements:

• Experience: at least 2 years in a hotel or related field.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Ability to show initiative, anticipate needs before they arise.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Additional Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience is a plus.
• Friendly demeanor and good customer service skills.
