Examples of Duties

Essential Functions

• Collect, record, sort, and process property laundry. This involves bending, stooping, and lifting laundry up to 30 pounds regularly.
• Process laundry through presser, requiring continuous bending, standing, and manual dexterity.
• Assist in other areas of the laundry department during downtime.
• Manually fold sheets neatly and efficiently.
• Clear laundry chutes and sort linen in carts.
• Answer guest and associate inquiries regarding laundry services.

Supportive Functions

• Respond to guest requests and provide assistance as needed.
• Report suspicious persons, activities, or unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
• Report found items to the Lost and Found Department.
