Job summary

Cloudland at McLemore Resort in Rising Fawn, GA is seeking a Laundry Attendant to receive, sort and weigh linen, and operate the laundry equipment to maintain clean, ready-for-use textiles for the resort. You will also assist guests and staff by fulfilling requests and resolving issues with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The role requires basic numeracy, safety awareness, and the ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Some high school diploma or equivalent experience.
• No formal experience required for the position.
• Ability to recognize and work with numbers.
• Operate industrial laundry equipment and handle linens safely.
• Communicate information and hotel services to guests, vendors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort and weigh soiled linen; place into appropriate containers.
• Process sorted linen utilizing washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers and feeders.
• Turn in all articles found in Laundry Chute/Department to the Supervisor to log in Lost and Found.
• Fulfill guest requests and handle guest problems/complaints to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Report malfunctioning or damaged equipment, or mechanical problems to the Supervisor.
• Notify supervisor of supplies needed, damaged linens or hazards to ensure operation.
• Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
