The Westin National Harbor is seeking a Laundry Attendant to operate washers and manage linen flow for towels, linens, blankets, and napkins. The role includes handling, weighing, loading, and maintaining equipment to ensure clean, well-folded linens for guests.

You will follow machine operating procedures, maintain productivity standards, and keep the workspace organized. This position offers competitive pay and a benefits package, including health options and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED or Work Equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required. Previous laundry experience preferred.
• First aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort linen (terry, sheets, pillowcases) and weigh linen.
• Load dryers and operate washing machines and related equipment.
• Know the operating function of the machines and maintain productivity standards.
• Fold linen and sheets according to proper standards.
• Place folded linen on marked shelves.

Overview:

The Laundry Attendant operates or tends to washers to wash articles, such as towels, linens, blankets, napkins, etc. for the hotel.

Potential Career Paths:

Housekeeping Supervisor – Housekeeping Manager – Operations Manager – Assistant General Manager – General Manager – Area Vice President of Operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sorts linen (terry, sheets, pillowcases). Weigh linen and load in washers.

Education and Experience:

• Certificates & Licenses:First aid certification is preferred.
