Responsibilities include controlling and issuing linen and terry products used by the room and food & beverage divisions. Ensuring all laundry is removed from chutes, sorted, and prepared for washing. Removing soiled items, inspecting for damage or stains, sorting, and bagging for processing. Operating washers, dryers, and other equipment, along with record-keeping and inventory management.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading carts of soiled linen and terry products.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, ensuring no visible cleaning supplies to guests.
• Handle soiled items appropriately, removing damaged or stained items for special processing.
• Program finishing equipment for various linens and terry products.
• Process washed linen and terry products, including folding and stacking.
• Conduct monthly inventory, tracking loss and statistics.
• Report equipment issues to supervisors.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas and linen supply closets.
• Follow special care instructions for linens and surfaces.
• Wear a proper, neat uniform at all times.
• Be capable of lifting at least 50 pounds and performing physical movements throughout the day.
• Attend training and team meetings as required.
• Contribute positively to the hotel culture and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Basic math skills for inventory and reporting.
