Job Summary

The Laundry Attendant / Custodian ensures cleanliness and organization of various facility areas. Responsibilities include washing and distributing uniforms, maintaining locker rooms, bathrooms, and office spaces. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to cleanliness. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, can handle high-volume workloads, and remain calm in fast-paced settings.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Laundry Management :

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute uniforms. Manage inventory of uniforms and laundry supplies. Keep laundry area clean and organized.

1. Cleaning and Maintenance :

Sanitize locker rooms and bathrooms, restock supplies, vacuum, mop, dust office spaces, perform minor repairs.

1. Trash Management :

Collect and dispose of trash, monitor levels, coordinate disposal.

1. Customer Service :

Assist staff and visitors courteously, maintain professionalism, respond promptly to requests and concerns.

Qualifications :

• Experience in custodial or laundry services preferred.
• Attention to detail, task prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast environment.
• Self-sufficient, physically capable of performing tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Exposure to heat, steam, cold environments.
