Provides excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner; following LBA standards of friendly hospitality while adhering to guidelines and procedures. Maintains the laundry and facilities in a clean and organized manner. Responsible for the cleanliness of the laundry and the proper use and organization of supplies.

Pre-Requisites

Laundry Attendants have access to guestrooms and property. Honesty and trustworthiness are essential traits for this position. Associates must pass the appropriate security clearance per company policy.

Experience

Experience in lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities is helpful but not mandatory.

Essential Job Functions

Must be able to perform major life activities such as standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating.

Specific Requirements

• Push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds.
• Stand for up to eight hours, and bend, stretch, reach as needed.
• See and hear adequately.
• Speak and understand English; knowledge of another language may be helpful.

• Receive and sort soiled linens and terry.

• Fold and stock linens and terry.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Know emergency procedures thoroughly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
