Hours: Full Time Days, Per Departmental Needs

Summary:

Responsible for the preparation and distribution of linen supplies throughout the hospital, including restocking assigned areas, collecting soiled linen and equipment, and maintaining an orderly work environment. Accurate recording of duties and communication with management are essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Restocks assigned areas with supplies accurately and timely
  • Inspects linen and prepares packs and/or carts for delivery
  • Maintains clean and orderly work environment in the department and customer site
  • Communicates delivery status to customers and documents deliveries
  • Retrieves soiled linen, weighs, and stages for pick-up
  • Acknowledges linen requests via walkie-talkie, telephone, or in person
  • Participates in physical inventories and handles supply breakdowns and deliveries
Education or Experience:

Required: High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, write, and perform simple mathematical calculations.
