Purpose

Under the direction of the Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager on duty, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer service by offering a clean, safe, and friendly store environment.

Position Responsibilities

1. Customer Service and Satisfaction: Assists customers with payment systems, machine operation, retail purchases, and wash/dry/fold orders; handles inquiries and concerns, reporting to management as needed. Maintains a neat appearance and wears the uniform.
2. Store Safety and Security: Ensures a safe environment by following security procedures, prioritizing safety for employees and customers.
3. Store Cleanliness and Upkeep: Keeps the store clean inside and outside, following cleaning routines and documenting completion.
4. Building and Equipment Maintenance: Reports maintenance issues and escalates unsafe situations appropriately.
5. Retail: Maintains attractive presentation of retail products, understands products, processes sales accurately, and encourages additional purchases.
6. Wash/Dry/Fold: Provides quality service by selecting proper equipment, completing orders carefully, and addressing customer concerns promptly. Reports claims immediately.
7. Policies and Procedures: Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
8. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Experience

Knowledge of commercial laundry products and payment systems is a plus but not required.
