TITLE: Laundry Attendant

POSITION FOCUS: Provides cleaning services such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing walls, windows, and mirrors in designated hotel areas. In guest rooms, replaces linens, replenishes amenities, and makes beds per hotel standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Ability to reach all hotel areas, occasional lifting of heavy items, work on weekends and holidays, and work with household chemicals.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE: Reports to: Housekeeping Supervisor. No subordinates.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Sort soiled linens by type, color, and soil level; inspect and record damaged/stained items.
• Operate washers and dryers per capacity and manufacturer guidelines.
• Add chemicals/detergents in correct quantities before wash cycles.
• Fold and store linens; operate linen-related equipment.
• Assist with linen inventory counts.
• Follow team cleaning and self-inspection procedures.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests or complaints, ensuring satisfaction.
• Follow safety, security, and company policies; report hazards or incidents; complete safety training.
• Maintain quality standards and professional appearance; keep proprietary information confidential.
• Lift objects up to 40 pounds; reach, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.
• Adhere to team member guidelines; report to work as scheduled.
• Observe the 5x10 rule; assist guests and individuals with disabilities; show genuine appreciation to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
