Position Overview: The House Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, folding, and distributing all soiled linens and towels.

Pay Rate: $15.25 per hour

Responsibilities:

1. Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and fellow employees.
2. Understand the operation of washing machines and dryers.
3. Load and unload washes according to standards.
4. Wash and dry all dirty linens, towels, rags, etc.
5. Sort linens by type, color, size, etc.
6. Pre-treat stained linens before washing.
7. Clean dryer filters daily and maintain equipment as trained.
8. Operate irons as per standards and ensure they are shut off at the end of the day.
9. Sweep and mop laundry floors, storing linens off the floor.
10. Fold towels and linens.
11. Remove and sort dirty linens and towels from laundry carts.
12. Keep laundry carts clean and free of debris.
13. Maintain a clean work area.
14. Sort clean laundry and load carts.
15. Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Flexible with long hours sometimes required.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Maintain regular attendance per hotel standards.
• Maintain personal appearance and grooming standards.
• Comply with hotel standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations.
